The band has performed in various venues and festivals on the vibrant Jersey City and Asbury Park music scenes,, including The Fox & Crow, Ghost of Uncle Joes and Applause in the Plaza, and in Asbury Park NJ at Convention Hall and Porchfest.

If it also has the smoky redolence of the speakeasy to it, well, that's intentional. There's something Prohibition-defying about Twisted Martini, even if there's not much in Jersey City that's prohibited anymore. The "twist" has more to do with the repertoire and the arrangements than it does with the approach to the instruments. The four members of Twisted Martini put their mark on originals and covers alike, lending a slinky, flirty, late-hours feel to everything they play. They were made for the back room of Fox & Crow, a sophisticated little club where Twisted Martini once cast its spell. Alas, Fox & Crow is no more.
